Saris SuperBones 3 Bike Rack Review- Video
Today we'll be taking a look at the Saris SUPERBones trunk-mount 3-bike rack, part number SA802. The Saris SUPERBones bike rack is a trunk-mount bike rack that allows you to carry up to three bikes on your vehicle's trunk or hatch. This bike rack is going to consist of three straps to hold our bike into place, two on our frame and one as our anti-sway to prevent our bike from swinging back and forth. The anti-sway cradles rotate 90 degrees and are adjustable to accommodate different bikes. This will help to prevent them from swinging back and forth and possibly colliding with each other. The straps have this coating on the inside that will help to prevent scratches or abrasions to your bike. more

Yakima HangOut 3 Bike Rack Review- Video
Today we're going to be looking at the Okuma Hang Out 3 Bike rack. Part Number Y02638. The Okuma Hang out 3 is a great bike rack, which can carry up to three bikes and keeps them all secure and in place with this safety strap wrapped around both the bike rack and the bikes frames. It features stable cradle anti sway cradles to prevent bike to bike contact and to grip it around the side frame here. And while this is a hanging style bike rack, it may require the use of bike adaptor bars like this Okuma one you see in here, which is sold separately. In addition to the safety strap, we have this wheel strap for the bike closest to the vehicle to ensure that the tire doesn't make contact with the trunk or hatch. The cradles are padded and are also moveable along the arms to accommodate loading. This bike rack also has the quick trigger system for folding it out, as well as folding the inner arms down, they simply pop out, you turn them to the side and keep them in the open position, and then we're able to fold our arms down. more

Yakima HangOut 3 Bike Rack Test Course- Video
Here, on our test course, we'll start by going through our slalom. This is going to show us the side-to-side action which simulates turning corners or evasive maneuvers. Once we get to the alternating speed bumps, we'll see the twisting action. This will simulate hitting a curb, or potholes, or driving over uneven pavement. Once we get to the full speed bumps, we'll see the up-and-down action. This will be just like driving in and out of a parking lot, garage or driveway. more

Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. The cradles themselves are stationary where they're at; however, they are padded and they have these indentations so that your brake cables and such can fit through there and not get smashed by the frame once the bike is installed. We also have an integrated cable lock here at the front. You wrap it around the bike and attach it to this point at the front and lock into place to secure both your bikes to the rack. It grips your bike at three points. more

Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first I like to show off is the fact that it has an integrated cable lock here at the end. You can pull it out and wrap it around your bikes and then attach it to this point here and lock it down to secure your bikes to the rack. The cradles themselves are adjustable to accommodate loading and unloading, and they have this shock-absorbent material here on the top and it is padded, so your bike's frame won't get scratched up once it's being installed. It'll grip your bike at three points. We have two straps up at the top and one off to the side here, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep your bike from moving too far back and forth and making bike-to-bike contact. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. With the bike rack in this position, I'm going to give you a quick measurement. more

Hollywood Racks Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Toyota Camry- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Camry we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Express 3-Bike Rack, part number HRE3. This is a fixed mount bike rack and we have one bike installed already, so let's go ahead and take a look, and show off some of the features. The cradles themselves are adjustable to accommodate loading and unloading, and it's going to grip your bike at two points, these two straps up at the top. While it doesn't come with the bike rack, we do have this strap here to keep the tire from moving around because we found that it actually will make contact with the vehicle if you don't. You can find these straps on etrailer.com. However, if you have all three bikes attached, this also comes with this stabilization strap that'll wrap around all three bikes to serve the same purpose. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. With the bike rack in this position, I want to give you a real quick measurement, and that's going to be the distance added from the rear bumper to this edge here, and that's going to be about 22" from the rear of the vehicle. more

Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Toyota Camry- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Camry we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2-Bike Rack, part number HRF6-2. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike actually attaches to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact. We're going to have two straps up at the top here and one off to the side which is going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to make sure the bike doesn't sway too far back and forth, and make bike-to-bike contact. The cradles are adjustable and also have these reflectors on the end here as well for night driving. While this doesn't come with the actual bike rack itself, we do have a wheel strap here, just to keep this in tact, to prevent contact of the front wheel to the bike, however, if you we're to have both bikes attached to it, it does come with this stabilization strap which would serve as that for both bikes. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

You'll pull it out, wrap it around your bikes, and attach it to this point here and lock it down to secure them to the rack. The cradles themselves are fixed in these positions, but they do have this cushion material on the bottom as well as these Zip Strips to ensure that you bike's frame won't get scratched once you install it. Today on our 2016 Toyota Camry, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima HalfBack Two-Bike Rack, part number Y02636. We already have our bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of our features. At the ends of both of our arms we have bottle openers. The cradles themselves are in fixed positions; however, they do have cushioning on the inside here as well as on top with the zip strips, so once you install your bike, it's not going to get scratched up on the frame. It grips your bike at three points. We're going to have two zip strips up at the top, and then one off to the side here, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep your bike from moving too far back and forth and possibly from making bike-to-bike contact. Now, the anti-sway cradle can also fold up out of the way like we have it here, which is going to make it 10 times easier to load and unload. We also have this stabilization strap here around our front tire. more

We're going to have two straps up at the top and one off to the side, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep your bike from moving too far back and forth. Right now we do have a strap attached to our wheel here to make sure that it doesn't move around while you're driving. more

Today on our 2016 Toyota Camry, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Bones Three Bike Rack, part number SA801. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. All the cradles are stationary where they're at. It's going to grip your bike at three points. We're going to have two straps up at the top, and another one off to the side, which is going to serve as an anti-sway strap, to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth while you're driving. Thule Archway Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Toyota Camry- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Camry we're going to be test fitting the Thule Archway XT 2 Bike Rack, part number TH9009XT. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature I like to show off is it has an integrated cable lock to secure your bikes to the rack. It'll wrap around your bikes, attach to this point, and then lock down and secure them that way. The cradles themselves are adjustable along the arms here to accommodate loading and they have this cushion material with this shock absorbent material, and it's cushioned so when you install your bikes the frame of the bike is not going to get scratched up.
